What is Dog Day Training, anyway?
What is Dog Day Training?
A: a trainer trains your dog for you.
At Bright Hound, the Trainer comes to your home to work with your dog.
What is day training helpful with?
A: At Bright Hound we offer day training for:
- Recess – play n’ train enrichment visits (available monday through friday, 30 minutes length, scheduled according to your need or preference)
- Tutor – beefed up recess
- Honors – an add-on or boost to behavioural consults, Bright Hound’s alternative to board and train.
One of the great features of Day Training with Bright Hound, is that your dog gets to stay right at home, where they’re most comfortable. Day training is suitable for all dogs (we love them all!), but is particularly helpful for young reactive dogs, who need stimulation, but may be too worried for a group walk or in day care.
We’ve had busy 10 year old seniors through 10 week old puppies needing potty break and company. We’ve had reactive working breeds who keep their owners on their toes with their busy minds, and quieter homebody-types who just like to learn new things.
